Clinton 7 vs. Logan 27 LOSS

Well a tough game and a tough day all around!! Even though we had some players not available...you guys did a great job! We hope everyone left it all out on the field that day! It seemed we were not all there in the first half...then on the 2nd half we woke up .... but it was too late.

Great job boys on a winning season!! Next year we will get pass the 1st round of playoffs for sure!!

Clinton 0 vs. Kaysville White 20 LOSS!!

Last game of the regular season... Even though it was a Loss...Keep your heads up high! You guys had an amazing season!! Your record of 5-2 is an outstanding job this year. 2nd place in Region!! We lost the first game but then came out and won 5 straight games in a row!! Awesome!! Let's prepare even harder this week as PLAYOFFS is this Saturday!! Let's get that win in the first round boys!!

Region 2B Championship Game

This Saturday is to see which team will go on top and be Region 2B Champions!! The Seahawks are going up against Kaysville White this weekend. We have the same region record as them...so this will define the true winners. Stay focused boys and practice hard this week. Know your role and do your job!!! EXECUTION!!! Remember to think about that one thing that you will do this weekend to help us get that WIN!! Also tell everyone about this huge game on Saturday...family, friends,...etc. We want a good crowd as we will be playing on their home field. GO SEAHWAKS!!!

Clinton 19 vs. West Point 12 WIN!!!

What a great game!!! it was 12-12 with less than 1 min remaining. And the Seahawks scores the winning touchdown!!! WOW!! Great job boys...you all played hard!! West point really gave us a good game to the very end!! We must continue to show effort and EXECUTION!!! Congrats on the WIN!!

Next week will be our Region champs game!! It will be against Kaysville white and we have the same record in our region. So the winners of this game will determine the Region 2B Champions!! So good luck Seahawks. Practice hard and stay focused..

Hello Team,
Just letting you know about our upcoming fundraiser, the Discount Cards. I will pass them out on Thursday Sept. 24th after practice.
I will give each child 13-14 cards and instructions, so if you would like to be there to get those, please come. I will be there at 6:15pm.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THESE DON'T GET LOST AS THEY ARE ALREADY PAID FOR and we are counting on them for our big money maker!!

If you would like to sell pre-order cards, click on the link to print you out a copy so you can show your prospects what they'll get.

Instructions for selling:
Sell each card for $10.00 each.
Make the check PAYABLE TO YOU!
Must be sold by October 14th. I will collect the money on the 15th.
After they're sold. Write ONE check out to me for the total. (Those of you who paid the $27.00 towards this may deduct this from your total) I have the list if you're not sure.

We are counting on all the cards to be sold to bring in sufficient funding we need to have another great banquet.
--Let's help each other out- if you easily sell your cards, or need more, let me know as others may have a harder time.

Clinton 27 vs. Layton Blue 16 WIN!!!

4 straight wins for the Seahawks!! Great job boys!! The Layton team played a real tough game. But our offense kept pushing and we put points on the board early. It was 20 to 0 at half time. The defense did good also! Seemed the Layton squad had a few "hot" heads...but the Seahawks kept their cool and finished the game with the WIN!!! Congrats again to the Seahawks!

Practice schedule for this week...

A few housekeeping items. As a reminder, we are practicing Monday at North Park (normal practice field) at 6 pm. Also, Wednesday, we cannot practice at North Park, so we are going to practice on our home field (Clinton West field) at 6. So:



* Monday & Tuesday: 6 PM @ North Park
* Wednesday: 6 PM @ Clinton City Park, west field (our home game field)
* Thursday: NO PRACTICE (Weber State Football Clinic)
o If you don’t have a flyer for this, get one from me on Monday
o It is not mandatory that your son attends. It is up to both of you.
* Friday: 5 PM @ North Park
* Saturday: Game vs Layton @ home field at 3:30 PM. Be there at 2:30 PM.

Clinton 32 vs. Syracuse 12 WIN!!!!

Great job BoneCrushers!!! Our 3rd straight WIN!! Way to get our first region game WIN!! The whole offense exploded as usual and scored 26 points in the first half!!! Defense did a great job as well!!! We got 3 more games to go...let's WIN WIN WIN and get into the playoffs!!!

Clinton 27 vs. Layton Red 0 WIN!!!

Another great win for the Seahawks!! We had great Execution right at the start of the game!! Our first play ran for a touchdown!! Great job boys!! The Defense did a great job as well holding Layton to ZERO points! A first this season!!

Our next games will all be "region" games. That means they all count for getting our playoff spot! So let's keep the EFFORT and let's EXECUTE!!!

Clinton 34 vs. Roy 7 WIN

Great game Seahawks!! Todays game was very well EXECUTED by the Seahawks!!! Our offense was on point and our Defense played real hard!! Feels good to get that first WIN!! Congrats!!

Clinton 7 vs. Kaysville 13 LOSS

1st game was a good battle! We had a great punt block that turned into a touchdown. But our penalties is what got us!! We actually had over 50 offensive plays while the other team had around 20 or so. The defense played real well too. Good Job boys!! A tough loss but that will change for the next game!!!

We play at 12 Noon this Saturday on our home field at the new Clinton City Park (West Field). We will meet at 11am on the same field to warm-up and get weighed-in. There is a chance this could still change, so I’ll be keeping an eye on it between now and Saturday.

The 2009 Football Season BEGINS!!!!!

Welcome back everyone!! The 2009 season is now upon us! We are all very excited to get things going ASAP! We plan to have a great season and we hope all the kids have fun this season!

If you are new to this blog.... this is a place where you can stay informed on the ongoings of the Clinton Seahawks Pee Wee 2009. I'll be posting photos, videos, and other important information for the parents as well. Be sure to check back often and don't forget to leave comments for us and the boys!!

The 2009 Season!!!!

The 2009 season for the Clinton Seahawks is about to begin! The coaches have been hard at work preparing for the new season! We are all excited!!!

Football begins Aug 3rd, 5 PM, @ North Park (214 W 2400 N in Sunset, aka White Park – behind Smith’s in Sunset, next to Freemont Elementary). At 6:30 we will go to the new Clinton City park to pickup our football equipment. Please have the boys there on time for practice and help take kids back to the shed to get equipment.

Have the boys drink lots of water throughout the day – no more soda-pop! Wear loose fitting clothing and cleats for working out.



Starting the next day, Aug 4th, practice will be at North Park, but at 6 PM. And for both teams, we are planning on 6 PM from there on out.



Pre-Season Training going on NOW!

Your boys are all invited to attend Pre-Season training going on now at Kestrel Park (1800 N, 3400 W, Clinton) @ 8 PM Tue-Thur, and 7 PM Fri. We do speed and conditioning training for the first ~40 minutes, then we throw the ball around for another 30 minutes. Attendance is optional, but would love to see them come out a week early and start working toward a fantastic season! Hope to see them there tonight!
